How PixSnap handles your data.
This page explains what PixSnap reads, what it stores, which third parties are involved, and how to reach support if you have privacy questions.
What PixSnap does
PixSnap helps you capture full pages, selected regions, visible browser areas, and browser tabs as PNG screenshots.
What the extension processes
Screenshot capture runs in the browser extension. Page scrolling, stitching, cropping, and image download happen locally in the extension workflow rather than on our server.
What we store
PixSnap stores your Smart Crop preference, free-capture count, license key, and a random license device identifier on your device. The PixSnap site does not receive or store screenshot contents.
Payments and licensing
Stripe processes checkout, card details, and payment receipts. PixSnap receives Stripe's purchase confirmation and generates a signed, product-specific access key. Activation sends that key, a random device identifier, and a browser activation name to the PixSnap site. A keyed, non-reversible fingerprint for each of the two allowed devices is stored in the Stripe PaymentIntent metadata. We do not receive your full payment-card details.
Chrome Web Store Limited Use
PixSnap's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. We do not sell user data, use it for advertising, or use it for purposes unrelated to screenshot capture.
